SA: Police appeal for public help over road rage stabbing

An Adelaide motorist has been stabbed in the chest by another driver in an apparentroad rage incident.

The victim, a 32-year-old man from Salisbury North, is in a serious condition in theRoyal Adelaide Hospital.

Police say the stabbing occurred about 4pm (CST) yesterday in the northern suburb ofElizabeth after what's believed to have been a dispute over a minor traffic incident.

The offender was seen driving away in a charcoal-coloured VK Holden Commodore, withthe letters VFG on its registration plate.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
